Mrs. Sarah Bresnahan (YORK, Penn.)



YORK, Penn.- Sarah K. "Frankie" Bresnahan, 71, died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at her home. She was the wife of Robert A. Bresnahan to whom she was married 47 years. Viewing will be at 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick Church, 231 South Beaver St., followed by a 6 p.m. service at the church. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. The Revs. C. Anthony Miller and Thomas Scala will concelebrate. The John W. Keffer Funeral Home, Inc., 902 Mt. Rose Avenue, is entrusted with the arrangements. Mrs. Bresnahan was born October 30, 1931 in Augusta, Ga., a daughter of the late Timothy J. and Johanna (Bartley) Kearns. She is survived by five children, Bridget Zagwoski, wife of Lodge of Bethlehem; Sarah Malloy, wife of Terry; Mary Hildebrand, wife of Steven; Michael T. Bresnahan, husband of Lisa; and Timothy J. Bresnahan, husband of Dena, all of York; ten grandchildren, Sean, Emilee, Alicia, Kevin, Molly, Megan, Allyson, Lara, Owen, and Erin; two sisters, Sister Anna Kearns of Brunswick, Ga. and Loretta Burke of Augusta. Mrs. Bresnahan was a member of St. Patrick Church and its Adoration Society, the Young at Heart of St. Joseph Church, and Catholic Womens Club.
