Mrs. Jewel Radcliff (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)



WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Jewel Chance Radcliff, 74, of Church Street, Waynesboro, entered into rest Friday, September 26, 2003, at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Mrs. Radcliff was born in Screven County, but lived all of her adult life in Waynesboro. She had retired from Southern Bell with 34 years of service. She was a Baptist and member of Botsford Baptist Church, but also attended First Baptist Church, Waynesboro. Funeral service will be held Sunday, September 28, 2003, at 2 p.m., at DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral chapel with Dr. G. Al Wright officiating. Interment will be at Little Horse Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodcliff, Ga., Screven County. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Radcliff Sr., Waynesboro; a son, Byron Eugene Quick III, Waynesboro; two stepsons, Thomas (Evonne) Radcliff Jr., Gray, Ga. and Bruce Radcliff, Missouri. Additional survivors include two sisters, Bertha Giddens, Statesboro and Willie Frances Robinson, Waynesboro. Nephews will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m., Sunday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight, Saturday, September 27, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m., or friends may call at the residence of Mrs. Willie Frances Robinson, 104 Pinecone Road, Waynesboro.
