WASHINGTON, Ga. - Fabian Dye had three touchdown runs and Jamaal Binns had a 74-yard punt return for the Tigers in their Region 7-AA opener.

Dye finished with 10 carries for 211 yards for Washington-Wilkes (2-2, 1-0), which finished with 458 yards on the ground. Miles Anderson and Clete Wilson added second-half touchdowns in the win.

Travares Jones got the Tigers (2-0-2, 1-0) off on the right foot with a fumble recovery for a touchdown, but Webb and Raja Andrews' interception return late sealed it for Swainsboro.

DUBLIN, Ga. - Edmund Burke Academy ran out of big plays in the second half against Trinity Christian.

Edmund Burke (4-2) scored on an 82-yard run by Stephen Rockwell and 91-yard kickoff return by Daniel Womack to take a 12-7 halftime lead.

Trinity scored two second-half touchdowns, including the game-winner with less than five minutes to play. Burke's lone second-half touchdown came on a 12-yard pass from Derick Kittrell to James Dixon in the third quarter.

Womack rushed for 107 yards and Rockwell had 100 for Edmund Burke.
