Mr. Walter Bussey (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mr. Walter Thomas (W.T.) Bussey, 71, of Powell Mill Rd., entered into rest Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Newberry Missionary Baptist Church, Lincolnton. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Bussey was a native of Lincoln County, Ga. He was a member and deacon of the Newberry Missionary Baptist Church and a retired employee of Sweetheart Cup Company after 35 years of service. Survivors are his wife, Mary Lou Dent Bussey, Augusta; one daughter, Sheila LaVaciette Bussey, Atlanta; two sisters, Pearl Bussey Davis, Augusta and Rosetta Leverette, Lincolnton; four brothers, Willie Moses Bussey, John H. Bussey, William Bussey, James H. Bussey, all of Augusta; one aunt, Mrs. Jennie L. Garnett, Lincolnton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
