AUGUSTA, Ga.- Entered into rest Friday, September 19, 2003, Mrs. MaryAnn Carter Huff, 55, of Covington Drive, Augusta, wife of Mr. Albert Sidney Huff, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2003, from the Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, Ga., with the Revs. Mike Timmerman and David Harbeson officiating. Interment will be in the Dearing Memorial Cemetery, Dearing, Ga. Mrs. Huff, a native of Savannah, was a homemaker and a member of the Dearing United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Joseph M. Huff, Augusta; and one daughter, Jennifer Ann Huff, Augusta; four brothers, Emmett Carter, Jr, Tybee Island, Kenneth Carter, Mobile, Ala., Robert Courtney Carter, Midway, and Paul Carter, Savannah; three sisters, Linda Kirkland, Guyton, Patricia Ann May, Jesup, and Debra K. Love, Oklahoma City, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Ruby Terry Carter and brothers, Edward Eugene Carter and William Carter, and a sister, Margaret San Juan. Pallbearers will be Johnny Love, Chris Wright, Rodney Thompson, Eric Miller, Troup Bower, and Roger Whitaker. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2003, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Starling Funeral Home, Hwy 78, Harlem, Ga.,706-556-6524.
