Emmy Awards have no host
The 55th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, airing at 8 tonight on Fox (WFXG-TV, Channel 54), may be remembered for what it won't have: a host.
Scratch an opening production number, too, for that matter.
Instead, the TV awards will depend on a flurry of comedians doing bits. Some will work into presentations. Others will stand alone.
Andrea Brassell has come to believe in her fiance Matthew Stevens' ability to get things done.
"He's the type of person, there's really nothing he can't do," she said. "If he doesn't know how, he'll figure it out."
Just like he figured out how to date her when the two first met in 2000 while working together at the movie theater in Evans. "I liked him but I wasn't ready for a relationship," Mrs. Stevens said. Still the two began dating soon after.
They were engaged this past September.
The couple exchanged vows Saturday at Wisteria Hill Plantation in Appling.
See Brides & Bouquets for their wedding announcement.
