Mrs. Bonita Feiler (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Bonita "Bonnie" Hammer Feiler, age 53, entered into rest Friday, September 12, 2003, at Doctors Hospital. Ms. Feiler was a native of New York City coming to Augusta in 1960. She was a graduate of Richmond Academy and attended Weber College. She was employed by Georgia Bank and Trust as a loan processor and was a member of Congregation Children of Israel. Graveside services will be conducted 11 a.m., Sunday, September 14, 2003, in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Student Rabbi Andrew Rosenkranz officiating. Survivors include one son, Preston Hammer Feiler of Hilton Head; one daughter, Risa Feiler Gay and her husband, Chris of Augusta; one sister, Meryl Hammer Alalof and her husband, David of Augusta; two uncles, Aaron Hammer of Augusta and Sam Honig of Albany, N.Y.; two nephews, Seth Hammer Alalof and his wife, Fatima of Atlanta and Scott Zachary Alalof and his wife, Jessica of Jacksonville; her friend and companion, Matthew Bronson of Augusta. The family will receive friends during the traditional time of mourning at the residence of Ms. Feiler. Pallbearers will be Seth H. Alalof, Scott Z. Alalof, Ronald Altman, Dr. Jeffery Broder, Charles A. Gay, John L. Ray, George Schneider and JonSimowitz.
