Mrs. Ruby Johnson (THOMSON, Ga.)

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ruby E. Johnson, 89, widow of Mr. Orven Johnson, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2003, in the Mount Beulah Baptist Church with Revs. Mike Sutphin and John Richards officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brier Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Warren County, but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and attended Mount Beulah Baptist Church. Survivors include a niece and caretaker, Jeanette McGahee Kirkland Stapleton and several other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kevin McGahee, Michael McGahee, Keith Bryant, L.D. Reese, Leon Cato and Darren Cato. Friends may call at the Curtis Funeral Home.
