Mrs. Emily Giusto (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Emily Ruth Cannon Giusto entered into rest Thursday, June 26, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Born May 22, 1925 in Boston, to Charles David Cannon and Lydia Lester Taylor Cannon; Emily worked for Disney Studios during WW II and at the Registrars Office of the University of Georgia. She moved to Augusta in 1952, retiring in 1975 from Riverside Mills as an Executive Secretary. The last of six siblings, she is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward Joseph Giusto; son, Thomas Lenard Giusto, Louise, Va., Edward Andrew Butch Giusto, Augusta, daughter, Antoinette Marie Toni Giusto, Augusta, grandsons, Joseph Allen Giusto, Louisa, Va., Scot Herring, Augusta, Robert Chip Herring, Atlanta, granddaughters, Lydia Taylor Giusto, Leela Marie Hoehn, Anika Diera, Alexx Diera, Augusta, great-grandson, Joshua Giusto; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Giusto, Louisa, Va. A memorial service to celebrate a life worth celebrating will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of her son, Edward A. Butch Giusto.
