Mrs. Lellar Revis (CLEARWATER, S.C.)



CLEARWATER, S.C. - Mrs. Lellar Ann Revis, 82, wife of the late William Clyde Revis, of Belvedere Clearwater Road, entered into rest Wednesday, May 28, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2003 at Woodridge Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Hasty officiating. Interment will be held in Sunset Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Howard Revis, Kevin Boyette, Keith Revis, Stephen Boyette, Marlin Poston, and Van Andrews. Mrs. Revis was a native of McDowell County, NC and had lived in this area since 1963. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, church pianist and served on the Hostess Committee. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Her family will remember her as being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all whose lives she has touched. Survivors include one son, Jim Revis of Troy; a daughter, Shirley Boyette and her husband Milton of Jackson; a brother, George B. Baker, Sr. of Marion, N.C.; a brother-in-law, Claude Revis and his wife, Mary Revis, of Beech Island; five grandchildren, Howard Revis, Kevin Boyette, Keith Revis, Stephen Boyette, and Amy Boyette Poston; 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Rowland Funeral Home this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Family Life Center at Woodridge Baptist Church, 401 Birch St. North Augusta, SC 29841 or St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30904.
