Mrs. Mildred Cowart (THOMSON, Ga.)



THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Mildred H. Cowart, 82, widow of Mr. D.C. Cowart of Jackson St., died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, in the Thomson Manor Nursing Facility. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, in the Thomson First Baptist Church with Dr. James C. Elder Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Cowart was a native of Jefferson County but had lived in Thomson for many years. She was retired from the Thomson Company and was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Eva Hobbs and Mrs. Barbara Crutfield, both of Thomson; and three brothers, Mr. William Holley, Baxley, Mr. Henry Holley, Augusta, and Mr. Welton "Chuck" Holley, Stapleton. Pallbearers will be Gary Holley, Greg Holley, Larry Holley, Alan Holley, Tommy Holley, and Randy Crutfield. Friends may call at the residence of Forrest and Barbara Crutfield, 828 Pinelane Drive or at the Curtis Funeral Home.
