Mrs. Doris Sprayberry (HARLEM, Ga.)



HARLEM, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at University Hospital , Mrs. Doris Parr Sprayberry, 80, wife of the late Mr. Marshall E. Sprayberry, of Swint Combs Road, Harlem. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003, at Starling Funeral Home, Harlem, with the Rev. Don Manning officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park Cemetery, Augusta. Mrs. Sprayberry, a native of Richmond County, was a retired U.S. Government Accounting Technician, Fort Gordon. She was a Navy veteran of W.W.II., and a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald E. and Beverly T. Sprayberry, Evans; two daughters, Marsha S. Foster, Harlem, and Gayle E. Sprayberry, Lexington; one brother, Francis Calvin Parr, Grovetown; one sister, Rosa Adelle Wright, Augusta; four grandchildren, John Marshall Sprayberry, David Robert Sprayberry, Michael Joseph Sprayberry, and Rachel Elaine Foster; and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Sprayberry, David Sprayberry, Michael Sprayberry, Sean Waters, Tom Wood, and James Wolfgram. Honorary pallbearers will be Rachel Foster, Calvin Parr and C.F. Wright.
