Mrs. Wilma Davidson (CHESTERFIELD, S.C.)



CHESTERFIELD, S.C. - Mrs. Wilma Stanton Davidson, 93, entered into rest Wednesday, May 14, 2003. Funeral services will be held at Thompson Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003 with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Davidson was born in Chesterfield county, a daughter of the late Julius and Mary Jane Odom Stanton. She was a homemaker and was the oldest member of Thomson Creek Baptist Church at time of her death. Mrs. Davidson was married to the late Robert James "Bob" Davidson. Survivors include one son, James C. "Jimmy" Davidson, and his wife Anne of Jackson; one granddaughter, Dr. Cecelia Davidson of Augusta, Ga.; a grandson, Dr. J. Michael "Mike" Davidson and wife Phyllis of Florence; four great-grandchildren, Sarah, Joseph, Joshua, and Jacob Davidson all of Florence; and one sister, Alice S. Steen of Chesterfield. The family will receive friends at Miller-Rivers-Caulder-Funeral Home on Friday, May 16, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Thompson Creek Baptist Church c/o Linda Mills, 198 Rambling Road, Ruby, SC 29741.
