Mr. Grover Carrow Jr. (DEARING, Ga.)

DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Grover C. Carrow, Jr., 76 of Ellington Airline Road, Dearing, entered into rest May 13, 2003. He was the beloved husband of the late Lillian P. Carrow. Survivors include sons, Louis Carrow (Leslie), Augusta and Grover Carrow III, Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Linda Langford (Al), Baltimore, Md. and Rose Marie Pilgrim (Danny), Thomson; sisters, Anna Dabney, Baltimore, Margaret Demeano, Revere Beach, Mass. and Shirley David, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Carrow was born in Maryland but had lived in El Paso, Texas for most of his life. He also lived in Thomson, for over 20 years. Mr. Carrow was a member of the Dearing United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army during WW II and was retired from the White Sands Missle Range. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2003, at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Brother Robert Reese officiating. Pallbearers will be Terry Stephens , Allen Pilgrim, Ronnie Pilgrim, Michael Smith and Michael Brown. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
