Big fish: Grandle and Ellis, 8.74 pounds. 153 teams registered and less than 30 percent weighed in. Easter Seals collected a bit more than $10,000.

Saturday Morning Open Team at Cherokee Ramp Craig Williams reporting

Entry fee is $45 per team or individual. Late registration will be held at the ramp starting at 5 a.m., and cost $50 per team or individual. Tournament hours are safe light until 3 p.m. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Augusta Marine Superstore, Buckeye Lures, Shell Pump 'n Shop and American Sportsman.

Anglers must fish six of the tournaments to qualify for the end-of-the-year Classic TBA. One place will be paid for every seven boats. One big fish pot with 100 percent payback. Five-fish limit. Clark Hill Committee rules apply. More information: Nick Faulkner, 863-4868.

Summer Saturday Night Open Team Tournament May 10 results Lake Springs Ramp David Schlachter reporting

Buster Davis and David Whyte, two bass, 9 pounds, 11 ounces. Hans Cansler and Dale Fipps, four4 bass, 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Todd Morse (by himself), three bass, 6 pounds, 12 ounces. Big fish: Davis and Whyte, 5 pounds, 14 ounces. Five boats in the field, with fishermen in each boat catching fish.

Entry fee is $22 per boat, with $2 going toward the year-end Classic payback. Hours are 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Five-fish limit per team or individual. Payback is based on number of boats entered. The tournament is sponsored by the Carolina Bass Club. The Summer Saturday Night Classic will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 5 p.m. to midnight and anglers must have fished a minimum two regular season tournaments to qualify, or pay $100 entry fee. Those who have fished a minimum of two tourneys will pay an entry fee of $55, including the big fish pot. Wednesday Night Tournament

Strickland Marine Center and Ranger Boats Inaugural Hartwell Team Open to benefit the March of Dimes Sept. 13 on Hartwell Lake

First place a Ranger 185vs with 150-h.p. outboard motor. The boat will be guaranteed at entry No. 72, with one place per every seven boats. Entry fee $300 with 100 percent payback. Big fish pot prize is a guided quail hunting trip on Little River Plantation near Abbeville, S.C. Tournaments are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per non-member, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event's start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required.
