AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Jessie James Cheatham, 45, of 153 Horry Street, Aiken, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at his residence. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2003 at the H.G. Cheatham, Sr. Memorial Chapel, Cheatham Funeral Home, Inc., Langley with Minister Angela Lanham officiating. Mr. Cheatham, a native of Edgefield, was a member of the Union Baptist Church, Trenton, and was also a former car was detailer. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, George Cheatham and Bessie B. Williams-Cheatham; one brother, Herman L. Cheatham; one sister, Sophia M. Cheatham-Marshall; and one sister-in-law, Bessie Ruth Nipper-Cheatham. He leaves to cherish an abundance of loving memories in the hearts of: one sister, Edith "Mac" Stevens (McArthur), Aiken; two brothers, John R. Cheatham (Mary), Aiken and George Cheatham, Augusta, Ga.; one sister-in-law, Roberta Cheatham, Johnston; and a host of other loving relatives and wonderful friends.
