Miss Viola Brooks (EASLEY, S.C.)



EASLEY, S.C. - Miss Viola Elizabeth Brooks, 80, of Jones Avenue, died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at Palmetto Health Baptist. Born in Pickens County, Miss Brooks was the daughter of the late Elbert Matthew and Ethel Allen McKee Brooks. She was a 1942 graduate of Easley High School and retired from Woodside Mills. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and the Mothers Sunday School Class. Surviving are a brother and sister- in-law, Doyle and Rita Brooks, of North Augusta. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown, with Rev. Julian Ford officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Easley. The body is at Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown, where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday.
