Mrs. Dula Kitchings (SALLEY, S.C.)



SALLEY, S.C. - Mrs. Dula Creech Lee Kitchings, 83, died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 21, 2003 at 11 a.m. in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kitchings will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service for viewing. The family asks that memorials be made to the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation at 2260 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, Ga. 30904. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, March 20, 2003 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Blizzard Funeral Home, 153 South Main St., Wagener. Mrs. Kitchings was born in Horry County. She was the daughter of the late John and Aggie P. Gerrald Lee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Kitchings. Mrs. Kitchings was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress after 26 years of service at the Salley Manufacturing Co. Mrs. Kitchings is survived by one daughter, Elaine K. Smith of Van, Texas; four sons, Jimmie L. Kitchings of Goose Creek, Wayne Kitchings of Ft. Meade, Fla., Woody Kitchings of Sevierville, Tenn., and Randy Kitchings of Wagener; twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two sisters, Roze Caudle of Kernersville, N.C. and Joyce Timmons of Berlin, Md.
