Mrs. Frances Tate (EVANS, Ga.)



EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Francis W. Tate, 73, entered into rest rest Sunday, March 16, 2003, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held March 19, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Platts Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park. Frances was born to the late Fannie Wood Wolfe and Jessie Wolfe on November 13, 2003, in Wilkes County. She was a member of Faith Community Church, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert K. Tate; two sons, Eddie Tate and Johnny Tate, both of Evans; three grandsons, Banks Tate, Justin Tate, and Kyle Tate; five brothers, Jerry Wolfe, Jack Wolfe, Bob Wolfe, Jessie Wolfe, and George Wolfe; and two sisters, Virginia Flury and Mary Turner. Pallbearers will be Robert Turner, Mike Wolfe, Ken Dixon, Edwin Wolfe, Lee Wolfe, Jammie Wolfe, Jimmy Wolfe, Charles Turner, and Steven Thompson. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Faith Community Church Building Fund, 4181 Mullikin Road, Evans, Ga. 30809.
