Mrs. Vivian Sheppard (WRENS, Ga.)

WRENS, Ga.- Vivian Clark Harden Sheppard, 91, entered into rest March 16, 2003. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 19, at 11:00 A.M. at Waldens United Methodist Church with Rev. Marvin Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7:00- 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The body will lay in state one hour prior to service. Ms. Sheppard was a native of Jefferson County she was a member of Waldens United Methodist Church where she taught the Childrens Sunday School Class for many years, and was a member of the UMW. She was the bookkeeper at Stapleton Garment Company for many years. Survivors include her daughter, Dianne H. Rhodes and her husband Gary, Wrens; son Clarke Harden and his wife Mary, Statesboro; three stepdaughters, Marie Williams, Helen Thomas, and Judy Tanner, Louisville; three stepsons, Cleon Sheppard, Augusta; J. Farris Sheppard, and Lamar Sheppard, Louisville; sister, Agnes Thigpen, Avera; brother, Rev. Lester Clark, Augusta; two grandchildren Randy Rhodes and Renae Borum; and four great grandchildren, Kayla and Grayson Rhodes, Nicholas and Logan Borum. Pallbearers will be Randy Rhodes, James Borum, Frank Williams, Al Thomas, Joe Sheppard, Richard Sheppard, J T. Sheppard, Jr., and Jeff Tanner.
