Mrs. Helen Greenway (NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.)



NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Helen S. Greenway, 74, of Georgia Avenue, North Augusta, who died March 12, 2003, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., from the Grace United Methodist Church. Dr. James C. Adams officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Greenway was a native of Georgia having made North Augusta her home for the past 46 years. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, VFW Post No. 3200 Ladies Auxiliary and was active in private charity. The owner of Greenways Grocery, Mrs. Greenway was the wife of the late Mr. W.R. "Bill" Greenway. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey W. and Theresa Greenway Sr., North Augusta; a brother, George Smith, Atlanta; a sister, Dorothy Porter, Decatur; two grandsons, Jeff Greenway and Billy Greenway; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Dan Bales Sr., Ira Craft, Eddie Roy, Wade Elliott, Happy Greenway and Walter Campbell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will be at the residence of Jeffrey Greenway, 9 Knollwood Blvd., North Augusta. Stephen D.
