Prom-fashion disasters wanted
The temperature is slowly climbing, the days are getting longer ... it can mean only one thing: Prom season.
It's time to let the teenagers of today see what the teens of yesterday considered fashionable prom wear.
Anybody wear a plaid tuxedo? Anyone wear 20 pounds of pink tulle? If you've got pictures, or even better, if you've actually SAVED your prom paraphernalia, we want to see it. And we're willing to pay for the privilege.
Send details of your prom formalwear nightmare (with proof) to: Prom Nightmare, The Augusta Chronicle, P.O. Box 1928, Augusta, GA 30903-1928; e-mail to email@example.com; or drop it by the office at 725 Broad St.
We'll print the best pictures March 30 and let the public decide on a winner, who will receive $50.
Curl kit gives a softer touch
Curls are cool. Frizz is not.
John Frieda's Frizz-Ease Dream Curls aims to revitalize dull, stiff curls into softly defined, touchable ones. The magnesium-infused formula penetrates the hair, restoring elasticity of curls and boosting their natural boing. Here's the best part: because it's alcohol-free and contains conditioning agents, it doesn't leave curls crispy.
Dream Curls is available at CVS, Wal-Mart and Target.
