Mr. Robert Hadden (CHESAPEAKE CITY, Md.)



CHESAPEAKE CITY, Md. - Memorial services for Robert Nehemiah Hadden, 84, who died March 1, 2003, at Union Hospital, Elkton from complications arising from pneumonia, will be conducted Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at 1 p.m. from Gee Funeral Home, Pastor Carol Sceez officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Mr. Hadden was born in Avera Georgia on September 15, 1918. He was a resident of Cecil County for 37 years. He was a decorated WWII and Korean War veteran, a member of Town Point Methodist Church, lifetime member of Elkton, V.F.W., Volunteer S.P.C.A., Delaware, Seangerand in Newark, Delaware, and Fleet Reserve Association. He also enjoyed gardening. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Lieselotte (Lee) Maria Hadden, Port Herman, Chesapeake City, Md.; sons, Juergen K. Hadden of Elkton, Md., Michael H. Hadden of Port Herman, Chesapeake City, Md. and Robert N. Hadden of Elkton, Md.; daughters, Karin E. Hadden of Newark , Delaware and Margrit L. Newlin of Newark, Delaware; many nephews and nieces in and around Avera; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
