Mr. Billy Eubanks (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Billy Mack Eubanks, 69, entered into rest Tuesday, February 25, 2003, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bible Deliverance Temple with Reverend H. K. McKnight, Reverend Kelly McKnight and Reverend George Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Bruce Brown, Clarey McGee, Leonard Gore, Charles Webster, Dean Gilles, Jim Jewell. Honorary escorts will be the men of Bible Deliverance Temple and employees of Richmond County Sheriff Department. Mr. Eubanks is survived by his wife, Emmie Eubanks; three sons and daughter-in-law, London Eubanks, Vincent Eubanks, Patrick and Durand "Ricie" Eubanks; one granddaughter, Eryn Eubanks and two grandsons, London Eubanks Jr. and Connor Eubanks; two brothers, James "Buck" Eubanks, Elmer "Bo" Eubanks; two sisters, Myra Green and Edna Perdue. Mr. Eubanks was born in Augusta and served in the U.S. Navy and also during the Korean Conflict. He as employed as an Investigator with the Richmond County Sheriffs Department and a member of Bible Deliverance Temple. Mr. Eubanks was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Georgia Peace Officers Association, Fleming Masonic Lodge No. 718, Auga Scottish Rites Bodies and Alee Shrine Temple, AAONMS. The family will receive friends today from 7 until 9 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home, South Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.
