ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia's Josh Smith singled in two runs in a four-run sixth inning Tuesday en route to a 10-6 victory over N.C.-Asheville.
Zeke Parraz scored on a balk and David Coffey added a sacrifice fly in the sixth as the Bulldogs (3-3) took an 8-6 lead.
N.C.-Asheville (2-3) went ahead 6-4 in the top of the inning with Drew Sandri's two-run homer off Kip Warren. Kent Atzinger (1-0) loaded the bases with a single and two walks, but Steve Sherman lined into a double play at first to end the inning.
Brandon Moorhead struck out four and yielded just one hit over the final three innings for his first save.
The Bulldogs added two runs in the eighth on RBI singles by Jon Armitage and Clint Sammons. Justin Holmes hit a solo homer for Georgia in the fourth.
Curtis Glover (0-1) took the loss, giving up three runs on three hits.
