Mr. William Maguire (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. William Flournoy Maguire (Billy), age 59, of Augusta, entered into rest Sunday, February 23, 2003, at his residence. Graveside services will be held today at Westover Memorial Park on Wednesday, February 26, 2003, at 4 p.m. with the Reverend Boyd Lien of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church and Dr. G. D. McCall officiating. Mr. Maguire was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Judith Weldon Maguire of Augusta. Survivors include his mother, Harriett F. Maguire of Augusta; one son, William F. Maguire Jr. of Augusta; three daughters, Judith Ann McDaniel of Fairbanks, Alaska, Jennifer Weldon Maguire of Atlanta, Hannah Bray Maguire of Rabun Gap, Ga.; one brother, Sam F. Maguire of Augusta; and three grandchildren. Mr. William Flournoy Maguire was a native of Augusta, and was a member of Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Business Administration and Law School. He served as president of Fine Products, Inc., and later purchased and operated Audio Visual Center and Media Communications. Serving as pallbearers will be Phil Harison, Larry McCrary, Bill Hock, Dr. Brooks Scurry, Dr. Jay Dennis, Billy Schafer, Phillips Greene. Pallbearers are to meet at the cemetery at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Wednesday, February 26, 2003.
