WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. - Services for Cynthia Burton Terry, 93, of West Columbia will be held at 11 a.m., Friday in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia, officiated by Reverend George Rushe, with burial at Mount Tabor Lutheran Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Marty Iler, Roger Shepherd, Donald Tyner, David Shepherd, Travis Gordon, and Mike Lybrand. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Gordon, Salim Khalil, Michael L. Lybrand, Jr., Ralph McLaughlin III, James V. Gordon, Austin McCullough, and Brandon Tyner. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia. Mrs. Terry, widow of the late Maxie L. Lybrand and John H. Terry, died Monday, February 17, 2003. Born in Moore, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Nannie Burton. Mrs. Terry was a homemaker and a member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law Juanita and Ed Shepherd of West Columbia; son and daughter-in-law, Maxie and Eunice Lybrand, Jr. of St. James Island; brother Ben Burton of Augusta; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren Sign the guestbook at AugustaChronicle.com
