Mr. Bob Johnson (THOMSON, Ga.)



THOMSON, Ga. -Mr. B.P. "Bob" Johnson, 98, of Milledge Street Thomson, entered into rest February 2, 2003 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Aclise K. Johnson. Survivors include his son, Guill Johnson of Thomson; his daughter, Jeannette Johnson Rowe (Arlie) of Beaufort; a devoted friend, Virginia Rogers. Mr. Johnson was a native of Warren County but lived in Thomson since 1941. He was retired Union Oil Distributor, Pontiac-Oldsmobile Dealer, Farmer, Realtor and Cafe Owner. Mr. Johnson was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Mens Bible Class, a Mason for 67 years, a member of the A. J. Miller Lodge No. 204 in Thomson, a member of the Alee Shrine Temple for the past 58 years and a member of the Thomson Rotary Club. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Dr. George Freeman and Rev. Brian Davis officiating. Memorials may be to the First United Methodist Church, 353 Main Street, Thomson, GA 30824. Friends may call at the residence or from 7 until 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
