Mrs. Zelma Grier (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - M rs. Zelma Grier, wife of the late Jack Grier and daughter of the late Dock and Clim White, entered into rest Saturday, February 1, 2003 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 6, 2003 at 1 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church, Locust Grove, Ga., with Rev. Kenneth Walker and Rev. Jeffery Wimbush officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. Mrs. Grier was a native of Locust Grove and was a member of Shoal Creek Church where she served as a choir member for many years. Mrs. Grier, a kind, fun loving person, enjoyed family and friends, loved to bake and collected antiques. Survivors are one son, Wymond E. (Beverly) Smith, Martinez, one grandson, Bradford E. Smith, Martinez, one nephew, Johnny Lee White, McDonough, Ga.; one niece, Patricia White, McDonough, Ga.; and a host of other cousins and relatives. W.D.
