Mr. William Freeman (FAIRFAX, S.C.)



FAIRFAX, S.C. - Mr. William L. Freeman, the husband of the late Beatrice C. Freeman died Sunday afternoon at the Allendale County Hospital after a brief illness. He was 83. Mr. Freeman was born in April 10, 1919 in Brunson, the son of the late Roy and Minnie Freeman. He was the owner and operator of Freeman and Sons Service Station in Fairfax. He was a member of the Fairfax First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Freeman and Gregg Freeman both of Fairfax; one daughter, Martha Ann Donahue of Fairfax; one step brother, Roy Mixson of Columbia; there are six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in the chapel of Smith-Rhoden Funeral Home with burial following in the Fairfax Cemetery.
