BLACKVILLE, S.C.- Services for Louise Birt Etheredge, 87, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2003 at Blackville First Baptist Church, with burial in the Blackville Cemetery. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Folk Funeral Home in Williston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blackville Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 365, Blackville, S.C. 29817. Mrs. Etheredge widow of Joseph Clifton Etheredge died Sunday. Born in the long Branch Community, she was a daughter of the late Freddie Ceward and Ellen Ruth Hair Birt. She formerly worked for the Palm Beach Company and Blackville School District lunchroom. She was a member of Blackville First Baptist Church, W.M.U., Apple Dumpling Gang, Naomi Sunday School Class and an avid fan of "Bingo". Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Linda E. and Larry J. Still of Barnwell; daughter-in-law, Dorothy D. Etheredge Creech of Blackville, sister, Reba Dyches Martin of Blackville, grandchildren, Kevin and Greg Still, Scott Etheredge, great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Ashley Still, Garrett Etheredge. She was predeceased by son, Donnie Clifton Etheredge.
