TIGNALL, Ga.- M r. Ernest Everett Denard, 57, of Independence St., entered into rest Saturday at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Beulah Baptist Church with Revs. Jamie Callaway and Dale Fincher officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. He was a native of Wilkes County and had lived in Tignall all of his life. He was married to Linda Demastes Denard for 39 years and was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He was a member of the Tignall City Council, was a Mason and member of Hiram Lodge #51 in Danburg, and was a Scottish Rite Mason. He also was a member of the Yaarab Shrine Temple in Atlanta. He also served in the Army National Guard. Pallbearers will be LeRoy Bufford, James Harper, Sanders Rhodes, Rob Rich, Johnny Carroll, and Jimmy Demastes. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the Beulah Baptist Church, Curtis Tanner and Bob Thomason. He is survived by his wife, Linda D. Denard, of the home; one son, Ernie Denard and wife Sherrye of Tignall, one daughter, Tami Bradford of Tignall, two brothers, Ralph A. Denard, Tignall, and Albert L. Denard, Jr., of Abilene, Texas, one sister, Joanne D. Danner of Tignall, six grandchildren, and was preceded in death by a brother, Garvin Denard. Memorial contributions may be made to the Buelah Baptist Church, c/o JoAnn Bailey, 466 S. Hulin Ave., Tignall, Ga. 30668. The family will receive friends tonight form 7 to 9 at Hopkins Funeral Home.
