NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Willie Mae Mims Simpkins, 69, of Casalina Drive entered into rest Tuesday, January 21, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2003 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Craig Myers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Simpkins was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served as secretary of the senior choir and president of the Womens Club. Survivors include five daughters, Betty ( Johnny) Daise, Denise Salters, Maxine (Century) Harley, Margie (Peter) Hillary and Eleanor (Alfred) Cook, three sons, Leon Simpkins, Timothy (Geneva) Simpkins and Shyvron (Kadena) Simpkins, three sisters, Leola (Macfield) McCain, Julia (James) Lovett and Mary (Joseph) Houston, two brothers, Rev. Add (Laura) Mims, Jr., and Roosevelt (Julia) Mims, 23 grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
