FAIRFAX, S.C. - Mr. Miller Ernest Loadholt, 78, of Fairfax, died Saturday morning at the University Hospital after an extended illness. He was the husband of the late Ruth Hanna Loadholt. Mr. Loadholt was a longtime businessman in Fairfax who was in the car business for over 40 years. Mr. Loadholt was born February 1, 1924 in Fairfax the son of the late Lillian Miller and Albert M. Loadholt Sr. He was a veteran of WWII and a member of the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church. Surviving are three sons, Ernest and Tim Loadholt both of Estill and Marc Loadholt of Olar; two daughters, Diane Gibson of Islandton and Jeni Jackson of Varnville; three brothers, Herbert M. Loadholt and Albert Loadholt both of Fairfax and Rev. Donald B. Loadholt of Summerton; 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sisters, Katerine Loadholt and Olanthe Loadholt and one brother, Rev. Earl Loadholt. Funeral services will be held 11a.m. Monday at the St. Nicholas Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Smith-Rhoden Funeral Home of Allendale is in charge of arrangements.
