THIS IS A RAVE for the residents on Flintrock Way in Martinez for the beautiful light display this season.
THIS IS A RAVE for the workers who did such a fine job repairing Walton Way after it was torn up because of construction at ASU (Augusta State University). Too bad these same workers didn't do any work farther out Walton Way. Such a poor job was done there that it will almost throw your car into oncoming traffic if you are not careful.
SO THE SO-CALLED Rev. Jesse Jackson wants ... negative publicity against the Augusta National. Well, I think he is doing this for his own good, his own desire to be in the spotlight. I think we should protest him for wasting our time and his.
BRAVO TO THE postal employees who sacrificed time with their families to deliver packages on Christmas. Their attitudes restore people's faith in Augusta.
WHY DON'T THE commissioners try to get an extra sales tax penny to give the lower-paid workers of the county a pay raise instead of building a sports arena? My son is called all times at night to repair water leaks and sewer damages and gets paid very little. If the Water Works Department went on strike, we would be in a fix.
GOD BLESS AMERICA, all of its people. God is the maker of them all.
I WONDER IF the money my wife found (cash and a payroll check totaling $300 plus) and turned in at Target department store ever made it to its rightful owner?
