AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Patrick Herbert Amrhein, entered into rest Friday, January 3, 2003 in the Medical College of Georgia. The son of James A. and Gertrud Amrhein Abbey. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the Fleming Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Atkins officiating. Mr. Amrhein will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Abbey, Roland Abbey, Tommy Abbey, Joe Yearty, Brian Yearty and John Adams. Additional family members are one son, Eric Shane Amrhein, one daughter, Aleisa Brandy Cepeda, two stepsons, Brain Yearty and Joe Yearty, one stepdaughter, Wende Yearty, one sister, Patricia Lowe and John Adams, all of Augusta, three brothers, Tommy Amrhein and his wife, Diane, of Hephzibah, Edward Abbey and his wife, Katherine, of Hephzibah and Roland Abbey and his wife, Casandra of Uvalda, three aunts, Magdalena and Hans Schimmelpennig,of Germany, Erika and Peter Basquez of San Diego, Calif.; and Brigitte and Gene Couey of Utah, 15 nieces and nephews and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Poteet Funeral Home South Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., 798-8886 Poteet Funeral Home South Chapel.
