APPLETON, S.C. - Mr. George W. "Skip" Cadle, 72, of Appleton, died Wednesday morning in the Augusta Hills Nursing Center after an extended illness. Mr. Cadle was born on September 25, 1930, the son of the late George M. Cadle and Alene Hoover Cadle. He was owner and operator of Cadle Hauling and a Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are one son, George W. Cadle Jr. of Atlanta; one daughter, Francesca Cadle of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Myra C. Duggan of Fairfax, Gene C. Williams and Marye C. Johns both of Allendale. Funeral services will be graveside Friday at 2 p.m., in the Kinards Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Heart Foundation. Smith-Rhoden Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
