AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Theodore "Ted" Hickman, 83, died peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, November 19, 2002 in Augusta. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 12:15 p.m., at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Allan McDonald, pastor and Deacon Francis Koenn, of Paulding, Ohio, brother-in-law of the deceased officiating. He is survived by his sisters, Ellen Hickman Simpson, Augusta, Mabel Hickman Koenn, Paulding, Sister- In-Law Dorothy Wright Hickman, Bath, S.C. and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Mr. Hickman was a veteran of WW II. He served in the Marine Corps and was stationed in the Pacific during the war. He was retired from the Savannah River Site and has been a member of The Plumbers & Steamfitters Union for over 50 years. Nephews will be pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 720 Telfair St., Augusta, GA 30901. A Rosary Service will be held on Sunday evening, November 24, 2002, 5 p.m. at Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors. Interment will be at West View Cemetery 2051 Division St. Augusta, GA Thomas Poteet & son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd. Augusta, GA 30907.
