ATLANTA -- Rookie Dan Dickau of the Atlanta Hawks will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks with a cartilage tear in his left knee.
Dickau underwent arthroscopic surgery Wednesday which team physician Dr. Michael Bernot termed successful.
Dickau had complained of pain in the back of his knee following the team's recent road trip to the West coast. He had an MRI on Tuesday, which revealed the tear.
In six games, the rookie from Gonzaga averaged 1.7 points and 0.8 rebounds.
