NORWOOD, Ga. - Mr. Jimmy Landrum of Hwy. 223, Norwood, entered into rest November 17, 2002, at McDuffie Regional Medical Center. He was the beloved husband, of Kathryn Harper Landrum. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2002, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Gary Hadden and Jerry Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Denny Landrum, Wayne Landrum, John Davis, Bob Elmore, Phil Smith, and Al Wheeler. Mr. Landrum was born in Glascock County but lived in Norwood most of his life. He worked at Chardan Ltd. and Thomson Company for over 20 years and Miss Janes Restaurant and served on the Norwood City Council. He was a Baptist. Mr. Landrum was pre-deceased by his parents, Otho and Louise Swint Landrum and his brother, Jarvis Landrum. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Harper Landrum; three sons, James B. Landrum of Norwood, Timothy D. Landrum (Jeanne J.) and Robert Alan Landrum (Kelli Rachels) both of Mitchell; two sisters, Ann Griswell and Janie Landrum of Gibson; one grandson, William "Will" Robert Landrum.
