It's about time

Here in Georgia, they killed a killer on Nov. 13. Finally. It was 22 years after William Putman, 59, killed three people sleeping in their cars at two I-75 rest stops way back in July of 1980. So, what took so long? Due process is one thing, but 22 years?

The people have voted for capital punishment, so why do we keep hearing of all these continued delays in enacting it? They should have sent him to Texas!

I read somewhere it costs taxpayers $40,000 a year to incarcerate a single criminal.
