AIKEN, S.C. - Entered into rest on Sunday, November 17, 2002, Mrs. Bette M. Madden of Sharyn Lane, Aiken. She was the wife of the late Mr. Thomas E. Madden. Surviving are three daughters, April Treen of Oak Ridge, Tenn., Jill DeDycker of St. Louis, Mo., and Jan Seyna of Clinton, Tenn.; four sons, Timothy Madden of Madison, Tenn., Matthew Madden of Nashville, Tenn., Russell Finster of Tampa, Fla., and Randy Finster of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Joyce Hinson and one brother, Guy Mathis, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Fowler of Aiken; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Madden was born in Valdosta, to the late George and Janelle Mathis. She was a retired florist. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gade Show Reddy officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mattie C. Hall Health Care Center, 830 Laurens Street North, Aiken, SC 29801. Friends may call at the residence of Annie Ruth Fowler, 110 Sharyn Lane, Aiken, SC or on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy. No.1, Langley, S.C.
