AIKEN, S.C. -Entered into rest on Thursday, November 14, 2002, Mrs. Mary Alice "Skinner" Dyches, wife of Mr. Joseph Dyches, Sr., of 1916 Alan Ave., Aiken, S.C. Surviving are two sons: J. E. Dyches, Jr. of Clarks Hill, S.C. and Tony Dyches of Aiken, SC; a daughter Tanya Kirkland of Aiken, SC; a sister, Norma Ward of Hephzibah; four brothers: Ronnie Skinner of Harlem; Richard Skinner of Waynesboro; Jerry Skinner of Augusta; and Bob Skinner of Florida; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Grover officiating. Interment: Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Dyches was born in Hephzibah, Ga. to the late Henry and Myrtle Skinner. She retired from Riegel Textile with 30 years of service and she was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School. Active pallbearers will be John Ward, Timothy Blackmon, Jerry Skinner, Mark Gibson, Don Rohr and Ricky White. Honorary pallbearers will be George White, Wallace Eubanks, Tony Stein and Steve Waterhouse. Memorials to: Maranatha Baptist Church, 1617 Columbia Hwy., Aiken, S.C. 29801.
