Panthers sign Stuber off Washington's practice squad

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers signed offensive lineman Tim Stuber on Wednesday from the Washington Redskins' practice squad.

Stuber, 24, was originally signed by San Diego as an undrafted free agent in 2001. He spent this preseason with Green Bay, but was waived during the final round of cuts.

Stuber started 10 games for the Barcelona Dragons of NFL Europe this spring.
