AUGUSTA, Ga. - Alice Louise Burch Langley, 83, of Augusta, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 5. She was born and raised in Pinetucky, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Langley and one son, Robert Lee Langley, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m., at Hatcher Funeral Home, Augusta, with the Rev. Albert Stroup officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Todd Vickery, Brian Emmons, Steve Dent, Mercer Leftwich, Ryan McGahee and Randall Burch. She is survived by daughters, Pat Booker and husband Wiley of Americus, and Gail Graczyk of Augusta; five grandchildren, Sheila Emmons of Macon, Helen Vickery of Americus, Karl Booker of Americus, Sherri Martin of Columbia, S.C., and Angie Kimmey of Augusta; nine great- grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her Broad Street Church family. Mrs. Langley retired from Murray Biscuit Company after 28 years. She also worked for the Augusta Arsenal during the forties. After her retirement she worked as a foster grandparent at Gracewood School. Until this past year she was very active with her church. A visitation will be held tonight from 7 until 9 at Hatcher Funeral Home, Augusta.
