Recently I saw Les Miserables performed by the thespians of Augusta Preparatory Day School. It was a stellar production and performance that bore no mark of the amateur. For two and one-half hours I sat enthralled, listening to beautiful voices and watching young people as they poured their hearts and souls into the musical rendition of the Victor Hugo classic.
It is such a good feeling to see our youth engaged in using their energies so creatively, and it renews our faith in tomorrow's leaders.
My congratulations go to Augusta Prep, its administration and faculty - but most of all, to its students.
