AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Arthur C. Grant of Grand Blvd., entered into rest Friday, October 11, 2002, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at 1 p.m. at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Grant was a native of Lincolnton, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and a member of First Mount Moriah Baptist Church. He retired from civil service at Fort Gordon as a utility systems operator and was a member of Turpin Hill Neighborhood Association. Survivors are his wife, Vivian Grant; one son, Arthur E. Grant, Augusta; two daughters, Pamela (Eddie) Hart, Martinez and Ann (Rogers) Foster, Augusta; mother, Nora Grant, McCormick, S.C.; brother, Milton Grant, Irvington, N.J.; three grandchildren, Vannetta (James) Jones, Hephzibah, Kimberly Grant, Snellville and Ashley Hart, Martinez; stepsister, Carrie Ware, Detroit, Mich. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Blvd.
