AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Saturday, October 12, 2002, Mrs. Lucille Turner Reaves, beloved wife of the late Sidney J. Reaves, Sr. who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her youngest son, John David Reaves in 2000. Survivors include a son, Sidney J. Reaves, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Judy Reaves of Martinez; three grandchildren, Pam Nobles, Kim Kelly, and John (Rocket) Reaves; two step-grandchildren, Todd Bishop and Amanda Curry; one great grandchild, Alex Kelly; and a person she considered to be like a son, Terry Inglett. Mrs. Reaves was born August 28, 1921, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Dave and Tiny Turner. She was a former resident of Atlanta, Georgia for many years and relocated to Augusta following the death of her husband. She was a member of Second Ponce De Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. with the Funeral Service to be held at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park in Atlanta on Wednesday, October 16, 2002, at 2 p.m. Thomas Poteet and Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Road 364- 8484.
