HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Charles Lee Sheppard, 67, of Patterson Bridge Road, entered into rest Thursday, August 29, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 3p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2002, at Davisboro City Cemetery, Davisboro, with the Rev. Albert Halford officiating. Mr. Sheppard, a native of Washington County, had been a resident of Richmond County for over 20 years. He retired from Austin Industrial as an insulator, and served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Blythe. Survivors include three sons, Richard R. Sheppard, Augusta, Danny Keith Sheppard, Sanford, N.C. and Jimmy Frank Sheppard, Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Leann Catrell, Plattsburg, Mo. and Pam Huddart, Plattsburg, Mo.; two sisters, Jane Summerlin, Sandersville and Linda S. Lamb, Blythe; 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be William Stone, Homer Myers, Sidney Lamb Jr., Darrin Lamb, Steve Black and Troy Black. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9p.m. Saturday evening at DeLoach Funeral Home, Inc., 2546 Ga. Hwy, 88, Hephzibah, GA (706) 592-5000.
