Mrs. Laverne Dolyniuk (THOMSON, Ga.)



THOMSON, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, August 22, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital, Mrs. Laverne H. Dolyniuk, age 78. She is survived by her loving husband, of 57 years, Harry Dolyniuk; sons and daughters- in-law, Harry James and Lynn Williams Dolyniuk of Augusta, and Randy Karl and Laura Norman Dolyniuk of Hilton Head; daughter, Elaine Dolyniuk Gantz of Thomson; ten grandchildren, Sharon Kaufman, Karl Hagan Gantz, Kimberley Dolyniuk White, Elizabeth Dolyniuk Lasco, Elizabeth Ashlea Jenkins, Samuel McCord Jenkins, Megan Diane Dolyniuk, Harrison James Dolyniuk, Randy Reese Dolyniuk, MaryAllan Dolyniuk and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Dolyniuk was a retired accountant and a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Thomson and was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign War, Loyal order of Moose Auxiliary, and a member of the Ladies Elk Auxiliary of Augusta. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2002, 11 a.m., at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Ragan and Rev. Edward OConnor officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. A vigil will be held Sunday evening at Platts Funeral Home at 6:30p.m. with visitation to follow from 7 until 9p.m. Pallbearers will be Michael Leonard, Patrick Nordmann, Kenneth Thorstad, Donald Thorstad, William Real, Anthony Daykin.
